Mutiny is a new non-custodial Lightning wallet that's both easy and simple to use. It's open-source and features interesting integrations with Nostr and Fedimint. Let's dive deeper into it!
Testing new wallets for securely storing your satoshis is always exciting, right? After all, it’s great to have a variety of options tailored to your needs, and having a backup plan in case your primary wallet fails is always wise.
Continuing our analysis and reviews of Bitcoin wallets, today we’re introducing Mutiny, a new non-custodial Lightning wallet that combines ease of use with the security needed for self-custody.
Beyond the basic features expected from a Lightning wallet, Mutiny is gearing up to introduce new functions that enhance user sovereignty and privacy.
Let’s explore what this non-custodial lightning wallet has to offer!

Table of Contents:

  • Who founded the Mutiny wallet?
  • What are the main features of the wallet?
  • How does Lightning support and Just-in-Time channels work?
  • Connection with Nostr
  • Integration with Fedimint
  • How to use Mutiny?
  • Conclusion
Again another guide NOT mentioning a single word about RUNNING YOUR OWN MUTINY SERVER misleading clueless users. When people will understand that this is a very important aspect ? How many times I have to warn about this?
What will do Mutiny users when they will see this message for the default domain (mutinywallet.com) they are using ?
If you do not run your own Mutiny server, it is not different than WoS.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with that. I don't use Mutiny yet, I'm still working with Alby and Boltz. They're very easy to use and I've never had any problems. @TonyGiorgio, @benthecarman or @DarthCoin might be able to help you with that.

Thank you. I actually opened an issue on GitHub but it received no attention, which is why I'm posting this here...
