Why is it essential for you, as a programmer, to go to the gym and exercise? We sit for at least 4-5 hours on the computer, and this negatively affects our back, neck, and shoulders. Additionally, we are exposed to a lot of blue light throughout the day, whether from the computer screen or the monitor. This causes sleep disturbances without us realizing it, leading to poor sleep quality and difficulty falling asleep.
Exercising helps reduce these negative effects and improves sleep quality. It also enhances cognitive functions and speeds up information processing in the brain, broadening our horizons. Another important benefit of exercising in a place with other people is that it helps improve communication skills and allows you to meet people from different backgrounds and fields. As programmers, the thing we interact with the most in our day is the computer 😂.
