Congrats to our winner @grayruby who won by losing slightly less than everyone else with only 2 strikes. Never heard of him but he got very lucky. Hopefully it doesn't go to his head. @grayruby has decided to donate 10k sats of his winnings to seed the 2nd half MLB Survivor Pool. So after the donation and the payouts to the other finalists he wins 67,474 sats.

Unfortunately my baseball knowledge did not translate to cricket but that's ok. The cricket pool was a lot of fun. Do they do a t20 world cup every year?

It's done every two years. There's also a One day World Cup which is done every four years. IPL, Big Bash and Caribbean Premier Legue are done every year. There are so many other National and International tournaments are also being played. Currently, India is touring Zimbabwe for a bilateral 5 match T20 series starting from July 7. Sri Lanka is having a T20 league in their country. So, there are many events.

Really fun, low risk/effort competition. Let's keep it going! Going 12 weeks seems pretty good, these survivor pools tend to die quickly from my experience, but hard to tell since they have different rules. Excited for the 2nd half pool.

We should do some All Star related pools. Like for the HR derby, do a pool where you buy in 500 sats or something and choose a player. If they win, the the pot is split between all people that chose that player? Just a thought.

Astros looking good lately. Still a lot of injuries to overcome and Bregman needs to get going, especially with Tucker out, but they are back in it.
