So you would bring up a prior case(preferable one that was won) and describe it's violations? like a thing like roe v wade ?

i don't know. in anglosaxon courts precedents have more weight than where I'm from.
I think it depends. If i have good arguments, facts, proofs.. probably would not mention prior cases
