We are implementing API endpoint rotation for the next fedimint release, which will allow bringing back guardians who's domains have been lost.

We've seen 2 federations recently affected by having their domains placed on server hold by their registrar.

While this showcased fedimint's resilience and users did not experience downtime due to a single guardian going offline, the federation's resilience was reduced.

In the meantime, we advise to avoid using .xyz domains for fedimint guardians. Their domain suspension policies are quite aggressive and random.
