Hi everyone,
As I go through basketball withdrawals, I'm frantically trying to think of fun NBA content and I came up with something that I think will be a neat almost year-long contest.
Let's try to predict who will make up the All NBA 1st team next year, as well as who the league MVP will be and which team will win the title.
Here's the part I think will be fun: each month you can revise your predictions, but you get more credit for further out predictions. If you make a correct pick in June and don't change, you'll get 10 points, whereas a correct April pick is only worth one (assuming that I counted months correctly).
As with most of my contests, the prize will be however many sats are zapped to me on these posts (including comments).

Where can I get the details ?

Just what's in this post, so far.
Pick who will make All-NBA, win MVP, and win the title next year.
Every month you can adjust your choices, but more recent guesses are not worth as much as older ones.

Ok understood

Really? You are going to drop this bombshell on me 10 minutes before I need to leave to take the little one to TBall?
Haha.
I will submit my picks when we return from today’s victory!
reply
No worries, these are June picks. You've got a week to submit them.

Woah!!!
Where do I even start with this?
Are you going to get deported for not having SGA on there?
The Pacers are going to win the title without Haliburton being 1st team?
If this hits, you will very much have earned the prize.
reply
Pacers have Mathurin and Nembhard, so I guess I'll not call the RCMP to deport him for not having SGA on the list.

What do you think about Barnes’ extension?

I think it's a good signing. Barnes is already a great player, but still young, only 22, and have more room to grow. I don't think he has reached his ceiling yet, and he can be the center piece of a great team if Masai surrounds him with good pieces. That price seems to be the market price for franchise players, and Barnes is our franchise player currently.

I had to pick something different from yours and I couldn’t not pick Jokic, Luka and Giannis so SGA has to go to second team with Ant Man and Halliburton.
Also didn’t want to pick the Celtics to go back to back and you already chose Nuggets so I was torn between Pacers and OKC but decided Pacers have an easier path in East.
reply
I was tempted to pick OKC for the title, but my guess is that they're still a year out. I was also considering Minnesota.
I think Brunson's a really good pick. If he's close, the NY media will want to vote for him and he'll get more attention throughout the season. Plus, you can count on Thibs playing him 40 minutes a game all season.

Pacers and Thunder in the Finals.
reply
That would be fun, but I don't see it, unless Paul George goes back to Indiana.
