pull down to refresh

So here we are again. It’s the T20 World Cup. It’s India vs Australia. India have been unbeaten in the tournament so far and today they have a chance to knock Australia out of the tournament.
The Aussies were exposed by Afghanistan just a couple of days back, but that was in the absence of their spearhead - Mitchell Starc. There’s a massive difference between a team with and without Mitchell Starc.
It’s a must-win situation for Australia so you can expect the fiery pacer to deliver the goods once again. The Indian top order hasn’t been at its best in the tournament either. And we all know India’s vulnerability against left-arm pacers, especially in major ICC events.

Toss Update:

Australia have won the toss and have opted to field

Teams:

India (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma(c), Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant(w), Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah
Australia (Playing XI): Travis Head, David Warner, Mitchell Marsh(c), Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Tim David, Matthew Wade(w), Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood

Pitch and Conditions:

St Lucia has continued to remain the most humid of all islands throughout while being the best place to bat in during this World Cup. In a tournament, where the vagaries in conditions have had quite a say, the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground has been one where most teams have thrived, and it serves as probably the best venue to host this highly-billed battle, especially now with the stakes so high.
There was a heavy shower overnight in the island but it is expected to clear out even if it is set to be a rather windy morning.
Let me know which side you're, throw in any questions and confusions, I'll be most happy to reply all of them.

India is on fire. Good thing since I cannot afford anymore losses.
One of the best knocks of this World Cup. Put Aussies on the backfoot from the start.

Predicting exact number is quite tricky you know. One should be allowed to pick range like from 180-190. At least 10 runs margin.
reply
You're right but that would be too easy ..
reply
That would still be hard but you can change other rules to accommodate like prediction window shuts when match starts. Don’t allow any prediction after the start, then it won’t be easy.

You missed it by 10 runs!

Is Australia eliminated or can they still get in if AFG loses?
reply
They can if Bangladesh beat Afghanistan but there's still some Maths involved.
Infact, an emphatic win for Bangladesh can hand them a ticket to the semis as well.
reply
It'll be fun today. Australia lose and Afghanistan go to semifinals...

Kuldeep Yadav to Mitchell Marsh, out Caught by Axar!! Wow what a spectacular catch!!
reply

India need to turn the momentum around here.

Australia going along well in the chase. They have maximised the powerplay and are in check with the asking rate. If they can play the spinners shrewdly, this game could slip away from India...
