Ours is a sectional. I will be laying on one side of the sectional and the dog will come and sit on the floor beside me and stare at me with sad eyes until I move to the other side of the sectional so she can take the warm side.
Yes it is. It's like musical chairs. My wife and dog have their favorite spots. I have to move around to accommodate them both.
I used to have a cat that slept on top of the back cushions of an old couch I had. I would fall asleep on the couch watching a game or a movie and be rudely awakened by her jumping down on my chest on her way down to the floor.
I can't tell you how often one of my senior naps is interrupted when this guy uses me as a launch pad.

It also has a cardigan. Lovely!
That's a blanket not a cardigan but our dog does have a bunch of sweaters and a couple coats. My wife likes dressing the dog for some reason. I never put sweaters or coats on the dog unless it's very cold in the winter.
