Surprisingly, the IRS says you should conceal the sources of your income:
Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) data [includes]...Budget...Net worth...amount or source of any income, profits, losses, or expenditures of any person... source
They recommend hiding that data:

  • "Wipe clean or destroy old...hard drives and printers [holding] sensitive data."
