@Cje95 friendly reminder: if the Twins win today to get your pick for next week in Monday by 12pm est.

reply

I don't want you to get eliminated on a no pick so I will give you until 6pm est today to get your pick in for this week.

reply

Hard week with my remaining options.… Imma go Rangers dear sir!

Sorry again for the delay!

reply

Ouch. That did not work out well for you. Great run though. You made it to the top 4.

reply

As an Astro fan... Naturally the Rangers would be trash

reply

Great. Glad you got it in.

reply

Turd and I sitting pretty this weekend as the Dodgers have already won their week. The rest of you have some work to do.

Royals should be able to take 2/3 against the struggling Rangers right, right?

reply

Let's say I'm not extraordinarily confident.

reply

If they beat Eovaldi tonight I think you are in good shape. Fortunately they have Singer on the mound so it's a pretty even pitching matchup.

reply

Welp they need 2 in a row now.

reply

Absolutely brutal turn of events today with the Red Sox/Jays game getting postponed. 5 game week now, need 2 of 3 against the Padres to survive.

reply

Copying @pj on this response too since he has the Red Sox as well.

The rainout rules work as follows. If a game is cancelled due to rain and not replayed that week if that game matters to the overall week then it will be decided by run differential for the week.

So currently the Red Sox and 1-1 with a rain out. They have 3 games remaining this week against the Padres.

  • if they go 3-0 or 2-1 against the Padres you are in the clear
  • if they go 0-3 you get a strike
  • if they go 1-2 they will have a record of 2-3 for the week but also a rainout so it goes to a tiebreaker which is run differential for the week. If the team has a 0 or positive run differential for the week you are in the clear. If they have a negative run differential for the week then you get a strike. So technically you could still move on if they went 1-2 but probably unlikely considering their run differential is currently -4 for the week.
reply

Helpful. Thanks for the clarity! Hope they put up like 15 runs in one of these games to save us.

Red Sox handled them easily this week but the Jays do seem to play well at Fenway.
