Both are invalid reasons with all due respect.

1) Everyone should be allowed to take part, doesn't matter if & when they saw the post obviously before the deadline.

2) A prize is a prize doesn't matter how much it is.

Unfair on people like me, or anyone else who wants to take part, knows Germany are favorites but can't take part because they couldn't see the post earlier.
