Just wanted to share a map of actual Bitcoin adoption/acceptance by businesses orange-pilled by Coinos. By comparison, the much larger, more populous, wealthy, and tech-savvy Bay Area of California has practically zero adoption.
I think this really shows the power of passion, POSITIVITY, and just getting out there and doing some real-world action rather than being a keyboard cowboy.
I can't tell you much about Coinos, but they did make FOSS software with API and they offer bounties for orange-pilling businesses (!).
I have used their online wallet, and since I'm pretty sure I've tested every wallet that isn't an outright scam, I think I would say Coinos is in fact the easiest wallet to use (it is custodial, but of course that makes it even easier to use).
It's so inspirational to see such progress close to home.
Just for fun, here's a video of the Coinos founder, Adam Soltys, spending bitcoin 8 years ago.

We need these to speed up if we're really serious about Bitcoin adoption. This is the real way for real work.

It's a real dilemma though-- the only people who want to SPEND Bitcoin are people like us who have enough, replace what we spend, and have the technical sophistication to do so. Without more people like us spending, businesses have no incentive to accept Bitcoin. In fact their incentive is strong NOT to complicate their business unless an overwhelming number of customers both WANT to use Bitcoin AND refuse to pay via another method (threaten to go to another business a la Darth.)
I really hope Coinos continues the mission. Vancouver is a dope city; if it were a Bitcoin mecca that would be over the top.
