Came across this New York Times article in my national daily today. Many fathers agree that parenthood is a transformative experience:
I must be obsessed with Bitcoin because the first thought that came to my mind would be, won’t using BTC be a transformative experience too?
Which do you find more transformative, sats or parenting? I know I’m comparing apples to oranges, but would you happen to have a response for this?
I don't think you can compare these things. Fatherhood is a transformative individual experience where bitcoin is intended to be a global transformation. Unless you want to compare all of fatherhood then it still wins out because if we don't have any more kids in the world what's the point of bitcoin if the species fades away.

If you had to choose between your sats or your kids...? The answer to your question should hopefully now become obvious. 🙂

Why not both? It's not one VS. the other. Is both together makes you a better man and a Father. Buy some BTC now and store it for your kid until he/she is 18. Who is your daddy now? :-) (in a financial sense, you perverts...) LOL

The impact of Bitcoin extends far beyond the individual, while parenthood's influence is primarily confined to the personal sphere.

I think both transform you in a similar way, especially in terms of learning, both being a parent and Bitcoin force you to continuous learning.

Parenting is more transformative imo.

Fatherhood feels like a massive responsibility to raise the next generation. And way harder than stacking sats. 😄

I don't think it's very close, but I'm someone who was already very aligned with Bitcoin before I found it.
