Yeah but how many of those were bots?
I do think SN needs to do a better job marketing and advertising and increase its presence on social media. I think KR did a lot of that stuff and there is a void now. k00b is trying to wear a lot of hats.
There was a lull in the spring and summer last year. My hope is that it is just a seasonal fluctuation. Obviously, it's too early to know that, but this did happen last year too.

How could I know that?
I suspected that KR left SN, I don't know what happened there.

It was more of a rhetorical question. None of us really know how many legit accounts were being created now or then. I see new people joining each day and only a few of them actually respond and zap back when you say "welcome" to them so I assume many are still bots or sats farmers.

Probably many are bots, about that I have no doubt, every place on the internet is plagued by bots, and if they can in addition to that collect some satoshis, it is even more likely that the site will be filled with bots.
