Whar are strikes? Did you give specific name to 'minus points' for losing or winning? Is it similar to our Cricket pool elimination in some way?

reply

Yes each player gets three strikes before elimination like in baseball where a batter gets 3 strikes and they are out. So if a player's team doesn't win the week (50% or better record) then the player gets a strike.

Thanks! I'm impressed. I would also try to give 'em a name.

Have you seen that how similar we are (baseball and Cricket) in our pools!!! You giving three strikes and I've also chosen to give three chances before being eliminated. Coincidence!!!

For the love of God, one of you needs to outlast @grayruby.

This is where it gets tricky. Glad I don’t have to worry about living Oakland!

I have a couple stud teams left but that doesn't mean much if the schedule doesn't work well. Took the Dodgers for this week because they face Rockies and Angels.

Man, now it's getting tense.

The Guardians were the only team I didn't get a strike from in my terrible run this season, but even first-place teams have bad weeks. Good luck to the final five!

5 game week is tough. Blue Jays lined up against a couple of their weaker starters and Jose Ramirez went on the paternity list and missed the last two games. Yet they still came within a run of making the week.

reply

So we are down to the final 5? Everyone has two strikes or are there still some at one lol?

reply

@grayruby and @pj have 1 strike, everyone else has 2.

Let's go Dodgers. Big blow having Betts and Yamamoto go down but I think they can pull it out and keep me safe in week 12.
