on: Just installed Linux (Debian) on a spare laptop, which shell to use?

I use
zsh
because it's the default shell on MacOS. I try not to spoil myself too much with shells, because in the past I used to spend a lot of time on remote machines where I'd have to use a more Spartan shell.
