  • the option to disable the comments area in the bio
making everything clean looking.

We need to overhaul profile pages. I agree the profile pages shouldn't show the comments.
I'd love to pay someone on the FOSS team to do it, but it requires both a design and implementation.

IIRC this is tracked in GitHub, to some extent. Giving stackers a way to pin posts to their profile instead of showing comments, right?

To some extent, yes. It really needs a full-blown redesign, but pinning posts will probably be part of that, so a redesign doesn't block that.

I thought archiving would be like locking, meaning no more comments can be created on the post

I think this is about completely removing a post (or comment) including all replies but I think you don't own the replies.
Curious what others think though.
