Less than 48 hours ago Pakistan had their World Cup hopes slip out of their hand and today they are back to try and grasp it tightly before it completely slips out. Hello and welcome to the all important match 22.. Mercurial, inconsistent, volatile - these are some of the words associated with the Pakistan team and if the first two games are any indication then those terms are true. Losing to United States of America might be considered as a one-off, something that can happen in this format but chasing 120 against India and being in control for three-fourths of the game and still losing is what would have frustrated them. They can't afford any more inconsistency or slip ups as this is a must-win game. So which Pakistan team would turn?

Pitch Report -
We have 70 meters on the right, 66 on the left and 73 down the ground. We are on a fresh pitch today. There is a lot of moisture in the pitch and the grass is nicely rolled in. As a team and as a bowler you would want to bowl first if you win the toss. It won't be easy and 130-135 will be a good total. You don't have to do much as a bowler and just have to bowl in the right areas. This is not the pitch to bowl slower balls, seam-up and get that lateral movement.
Preview -
Canada have proven they are not pushovers in this tournament. They almost started their campaign with a bang if not for Jones-Gous heroics but they bounced back quickly to beat an experienced Ireland side. The batters have put the runs on the board even in tough conditions and the bowlers though couldn't defend 194 against USA, defended 135 against Ireland. But this is going to be even more challenging as Pakistan's pace quartet has been in form and are lethal. The pitch won't be easy and that actually might favour Canada (@grayruby may rejoice) it evens out the odds.
Thanks to everyone for your consistent support for the live blog...
