Fuck me, nothing annoys me more than shops that don't accept cash one. one of the malls I used to go has stopped using cash, I haven't been back since, they will just have to lose my business. 

I'd honestly just give my cash to someone else that is willing to pay with the card, but F getting a gift card or virtual debit card nonsense

When you can't incentivize people through marketing of card and mobile payments, the next stage is penalizing people for not adopting corporate payment networks.

It is theft and abuse.

Of course this starts with someone getting ripped off at a Yankees game. 

But seriously, the entire concept of a "reverse ATM" where you pay to convert cash to a Visa gift card is kind of appalling. 

(And yes, this is the epitome of a "bitcoin fixes this" situation, but short term, it's still awful).
