No one of the teams are interested in this integration for now. It is better let both protocols stable first.
I'm asking also because I have a project to develop a flatcoin, and while RGB seems more powerful, also seems to be less mature than Taproot
reply
RGB have so much around development than Taproot Assets.

Sorry, I phrased my question incorrectly. My question was about if this projects are aimed to complement each other, even if in a future, or are they competing between them and can coexist isolated?
Taproot has been even integrating with Nostr. Is RGB aimed at the same or it plays its own game?
reply
Yes, they’re competitors. RGB can be integrated with Nostr using reNostr. This question about interoperability depends both teams.

Thank you for clarifying :)

You’re welcome! You’re crating a Stablecoin over RGB?
reply
(sorry for the delay in my answer)
I have a stablecoin scheme developed. I would like to implement it in a Bitcoin-based L2, but so far both Taproot and RGB seem to not be production-ready just yet. There's also Rootstock which is well established already but it never seems to take off despite the years.
