Kagoshima Aquarium attracts many visitors every year. It showcases a variety of marine creatures. However, its main attraction is the jinbei zame (whale shark) because people are captivated by its large size. The aquarium provides many hands-on experiences, so families enjoy spending time there. Children get up close and personal with nature as they touch starfishes and sea urchins. As for me, I savour shirokuma (polar bear shaved ice) ice cream and admire the gorgeous view of Sakurajima volcano. The ice cream tastes scrumptious!
