Scott Ritter was pulled off a NY-to-Istanbul flight yesterday by US officials and his passport confiscated in a startling new development in the government’s open drive to censor and silence critics of the Administration’s foreign policies
Any American, journalist or not, who challenges the state in the current climate may find themselves subject to arbitrary procedures and even politically-inspired prosecution. That is the real state of emergency.

I believe, It is not easy to fight the system. So if you criticize any policy, you inevitably become a target

reply

actually, it's easy. Just step outside the system. Bitcoin, Nostr, GrapheneOS, Linux.

Turm off the TV. Grow food. Stop using phone numbers and stick to airplane mode.

reply

I get what you're trying to say, but none of that is as easy yet as it should be for most people.

In that regard, the fight @BitcoinAbhi refers to is indeed not easy.

reply

They are targeting specific people now? Will be interesting to hear their actual reason why they stole his passport.

reply

Yeah look out. Slippery slope!

reply

Time to get a few passports.

reply

This! Options are always good when things get dicey!

reply

its nice to have 3.

reply

That would be sweet!

reply

Most people have 2, right?

reply

For me, the Covid regime was the latest proof of the thesis that politics and the mainstream media have merged into a single entity that wraps itself around the ruling elite like a protective cocoon (see Davos).

reply

It's the same everywhere. You can't criticize your own country. Why? They say that it's your duty to accept everything for the sake of your motherland's reputation. WTF!

reply

Yeah... Democracy is support the state.

reply

Support so much that until the last drop of your blood falls on your homeland and the bloodsucking animals are those who comfortably sit on their cozy seats of rule!

reply

Well, that's not really playing by the rules.

reply

I'm sure they will come up with some rational for this. Its easy when you have lawmakers making new laws every year and agencies of unelected leaches doing the same. Just like in USSR where they would cite some law or rule when they needed to bring someone in. The state is evil. Some states have better masks but they are all evil.

@siggy47 What is the optimum number of passports to have?
