When I was into 💩🪙s I followed and used the eth roll ups, including Starkware. In my experience L2s other than LN are all about tokenizing finance. The L2 is for throughput and volume being too slow or expensive on main chains. They all seem to end up bringing across chains, so it seems like the path will go that way here, too.
