There is a bit of a buzz amongst Blue Jays fans today as they plan to reveal their City Connect jerseys later today. I thought the NBA city connect jerseys were bad but MLB really has outdone themselves. I assume this entire promotion is a competition to see who can come up with the worst jersey possible.

The worst part is teams are wearing these jerseys frequently now. I wouldn't mind if it was for one series a year to wear the jersey that represents elements of the city but I even saw them being used in the playoffs last year. Maybe I am just old but let's keep jerseys traditional and beautiful and knock off all this nonsense.

The NHL has a couple incredible series going in its Eastern and Western conference Finals. Both series are tied 2-2 and many games have gone to OT. Oilers 6 wins away from brining the cup back to Canada but it's not going to be easy. Closing out Dallas will be a big challenge and then whoever comes out of the incredible Rangers vs Panthers series will likely be even tougher.
