This is why you will be surprised to know that between 1800 and early 1900, pitbulls were used, people used to buy them to take care of them. I'm sitting next to my staffie bull terrier right now. I have owned many dogs, and I don't want to be a "breedist" , but the pit bull types have been my favorites.

I have heard a lot about pit bull dogs. They are very aggressive. One of my neighbours has one. He always has to be tied up with chains. He has also attacked strangers a few times

Pitbulls are my favourites too. I was brought up with one and never ever had any problems. It was loving, caring, a true friend of mine... My First friend, my 'Ginny'.
