To tell you the truth, You an I are on the same page.
'Emotionally lazy'—so rightly phrased.
Irony is definitely something that you can grasp as soon as you find it. But, sarcasm, the wait can continue sometimes and if not for others making you aware about falling a prey to it, you don't realise. (As happens with me often).
