Good article, i totally agree with the de-cluttering philsophy particularly the way that de-cluttering your stuff de-clutters your mind and helps gain clarity. I need more of that.

Minimalism seems to work ok for middle-class urban people, not so much for rural or poor people.

it works well for everyone who has the discipline not to spend money.

It feels pretty bad to lose your possessions unintentionally. I lost a house full of stuff, twice. The third time I gave everything away.
When you are intentional about getting rid of all your stuff it feels like freedom.
