That's fine. I don't care whether it is less or more useful than SQL. I'm interested in what its uses might be. And whether we can do something with it that is good for freedom money.
It's useful for people that hate freedom money

Now I think you're just getting offensive for no reason. @Scoresby and I don't hate Bitcoin, we just genuinely think that ecash can help bitcoin scale. (@Scoresby, am I being fair to you?)
reply
Didn't say you did, you haven't found a use for it.
You are just twisting yourself into knots because it's easier for the ECash people to scam you than it is for you to admit you've been scammed.
ECash is lies, just admit you fell for it, learn and move on.

So why don't you actually put your thoughts down and make the case in a post? Just arguing in the comments here isn't very coherent.

I've seen your project. I'm asking for a defense of your views about ecash.

I second this. It's getting kind of hard to follow arguments throughout many comment threads.

Without back and forth in comments how am I supposed to know what is over peoples heads?
I shouldn't need to explain any of this, its patently obvious
I don't believe a blog post / pod is going to persuade drive-by readers, it's easier to scam someone than to convince them they've been scammed
This is trench warfare

If it is so obvious, why are there so many people working on ecash? Do you believe they are all stupid or all bad actors?
reply
why are there so many people working on ecash
Already answered this in my initial reply, there's 10s of millions in funding coming into it because it's astroturf
  1. Some are just ignorant
  2. Some are bad actors/spooks
  3. Some just need a paycheck and being able to say they work in Bitcoin is a perk
I'd say 90% of people working on it are some combination of #1 and #3
#2 are definitely present
But it would be easier to be able to see all your arguments against ecash all at once. Or at least the onse you've presented in these threads. I'm willing to go consolidate all my arguments for ecash.
