I don't immediately think of composition as react's main feature (I think of reactivity), but this is a cleaner pattern than I arrived at when doing go templates in the past.
https://old.grepmed.com is done using golang templates and a template "engine" I made myself. I compose them, but it's pretty nasty in the end. It was like 7 years ago and I suspect go's html templating has improved a lot since then.
