The Libertarian Party itself arranged for that convention. The LP never stops reaching new levels of pathetism, but that's what they are looking for: profit from the hopes of innocent donors money while satisfying their egos. Doing actual work would end such easy life and cheap source of dopamine while proving them incompetent.

The crowd’s hostility to the former president was especially pronounced when Trump directly solicited their votes. Each time Trump asked attendees at the Washington Hilton for their votes or the party’s nomination, he was met with loud boos.
