Admiralty Point is an easy out and back trail located in Belcarra Regional Park in BC, Canada. The trail is about 5.5km long in total with about 80m elevation gain. We went on this hike in March 2021 when our older kids went to school. It was one of the first hikes that my little one walk by himself without need me to carry him. I believe he had just turned 5 when we went on the hike.
The trail is flat and wide, weaving through the dense forests of Belcarra Regional Park. We saw quite a few new growth on top of old fallen tree stumps. My little one took his time to walk through the trail at his pace. Eventually we reached an opening in the forest where we could see views of Burrad Inlet the City of North Vancouver. The trail continues south through the forest and eventually reaches a clearing, which is the destination of our hike: Admiralty Point. The spot boasts views of Burra Inlet, the City of North Vancouver, Burnaby Mountain, and Iron Workers Memorial Bridge far in the background.
