I was never a big white stripes fan but they have some good tracks. I don't think all their songs are terrible unless they are covers but if the crux of his argument is that they are overrated, I might agree with that.

Yeah, I think he's going a little more for hyperbole and that they're overhyped; I still listen to some of their original songs when they come on.

I never really understood their massive popularity but I don't get today's music either so what do I know
