In this age of digital payments & crypto, it is oddly comforting to find this mom-and-pop shop dispense bills and coins from an unassuming metallic tin to its customers, the same way I experienced during my childhood. A defiant ode to old-school methods, grounded against the onslaught of tech.

I must say that fruits look great! Hope that they are as tasty as they look.

Man, what is cool is seeing those old coffee cans. I remember so many in my parents garage before, my father was a night shift guy and brought home some old tins to use!

yeah yesterday I saw something similar, with the lady from whom I bought chicken at the market, she had them in a wooden box, which reminded me a lot of the wineries when I was a child. In addition to highlighting him for his skill with the knife, which is an exceptional skill that I was able to notice, I asked him how long he had been doing this activity, and he answered that for 20 years, among other things that surprised me. The most striking was her facial expression when she said "20 years." Her tone was not one of joy or satisfaction, but rather one of disappointment.
