Why didn’t he do this last time?
reply
Evan Kaloudis' response to Mandrik saying he needs to rhink about the possibility of voting for Trump is pretty good:
Maybe hold out until he promises to relaunch Silk Road
reply
Politicians are liars.
reply
My guess is that this is Vivek”s influence.
reply
Because the whole “crypto” thing wasn’t much of a political issue in 2020 and before
reply
Not enough pressure
reply
Hopefully he follows through.
reply
This man is saying too many things in a short span of time, the election is in November, he seems willing to say anything to win more and more votes.
reply
I don't believe that he'll do it. In fact if he does it will be like reducing it for a few months only. This is how Trump is! A joker of genius mind. A manipulator at his best.
reply
Trump is verifiably full of shit again and again. Pathological liar does not even begin to describe him properly. 100% pandering for votes. He does not give a shit about Bitcoin or your rights.
reply
I’ll believe it when I see it. Sheesh people have such short memories. Didn’t Trump say he was going to release the JFK files day one? And didn’t ?
Dude had Pence as VP who is the modern face of Dick Cheney neocon Republicanism. Remember Trump tried to kill bitcoin his last few weeks in office
About Ross:
I think the Bitcoin community willingly ignores the arrogance Ross displayed in his court case and he could’ve taken a plea and been free by now. But I do think his punishment is cruel and unusual and hopefully he gets his freedom but I don’t think it’s coming from Trump. If he wins get ready for the left to beat the drum of a stolen election

Now if he can speak to Assange…
reply
If I’m Ross or his family, I’m tearing-up watching that this evening. It’ll be a long 5 months but hope they’re all in great health & spirits. This is huge and not to be understated for them.
reply
why didnt he do it before?
reply
He did a lot of things wrong before, including lockdowns and vaccines... even he did not appreciate how deep the swamp goes. Some things will surely still go wrong, but this time Trump will be ready.
reply
The funny thing is, then the Biden administration tried to take credit for fast vaccine distribution, even though it was all Trump's work.
reply
Now that is interesting. Maybe he will even make him an advisor.
reply
Heh, not likely.
reply
Trump can say anything. Trump is desperate to win this election.
reply
Not really. He doesn't gain anything by sitting at the helm of the country as it is a pain in the ass to have job. We, collectively, ought to be desperate for Biden to be out, and for something better to be in there.
reply
Is the current politician-promise-to-deliver ratio above zero?
reply
Exactly
reply
If Joe Biden loses the election, he should make pardoning Ross the last thing he does while still in office. Steal Trump's thunder.
reply
Does anyone remember when Trump didn't know what Wikileaks was? Then he turned around and loved it? LOL or When he was against crypto? Now, he's totally changed his tune since he's been out of office.
reply
My 2c from "outside US" perspective: Trump hates to be accused of his broken promises...
reply
These people will literally say anything if they think we want to hear it. I hope he does but I won’t hold my breath.
reply
If he gets elected, people have to remind him of his promise and hold him accountable.
reply
Finally we'll have fair world
reply
Trump, as person, possess some serious wit.
