Something similar happened to me sometimes with my daughter when she was younger. and she hid the keys, wow I had days full of madness looking for the keys everywhere and it turned out that she hid them so that I wouldn't go to work and so I would stay at home to play hahaha... children's minds are something incredibly magical.
