I recently watched a couple of chapters of a National Geography documentary about Photography. Wow, the first two episodes are fascinating both in the quality of the photographs displayed there and the stories of the people who give life to such incredible photographs. I was especially attracted to the one that talks about a photographer who works with close-up shots and ultra-fast cameras. It was truly fascinating and highly recommended. This man managed to photograph the gestation cycle of an egg, capturing the entire process from being an egg to being born and becoming a chicken. Simply fascinating.
I have always been amazed by photography and it was not until I reached my adult life that I had the opportunity to get closer, try, experiment a little and in that way discover the magic that exists in photography, that feeling of pleasure and calm that it causes. Being behind a camera giving free rein to the creativity of a detailed and observant eye is something incredible.

Thank you for reading.

A few years ago I had the opportunity to make a living from it, it was totally a movie in my life at that time... and from there it awakened something fascinating in me. I started without knowing anything and my job was to carry the backpacks, after a few months I was able to take some photos and since then I haven't stopped photographing things, at a certain point I had to stop that, leave everything and escape from that place which ended my way of working with photography. and since then I have only developed it as a personal hobby, now I see my daughter who is interested in the matter so I have become more active again to try to create something with her around this activity, take photos, watch tutorials, documentaries, etc.

Photography captures me in a way that video does not, perhaps can not.

When I was active with skateboarding I edited a couple of videos and it was great to create the shots and do the whole process, it's also fascinating... but I think honestly between working on a video or creating a photo album. Without a doubt I prefer to work with photos. The idea of capturing a moment, an action, or simply a place in a static way forever frozen in time is extremely special.
