Be careful with your coins!

Did you know that you can have many different coins in the same wallet? Some may be inefficient, and some might just be dust in your wallet.

Here's an example.

As you can see, this is a transaction in the mempool. This user has transferred a total of approximately 0.2823 units in two outputs, but they had over 650 outputs, meaning over 650 UTXOs in their wallet without consolidation. The consequence of this is...

They paid 795.385 sats for the transaction, paying only 8 sat/vb. That's just 3% of the total amount with an unclogged mempool. (It also implies that it's a good time to consolidate those UTXOs.)

At this point, I think it's important to ask yourself several questions.

How many UTXOs do you have? What size are they? Are you prepared for a congested mempool?
