cascdr and openagents, is all I use now

You can self-host your own large language model with LLM Studio. No need to use this crap.
reply
💯
Then, you can let your frens use it and charge them sats.
Working on exactly this idea…
reply
You are right, in that self hosting is the gold standard. Sometimes, I still find useful to have other options.

That's pretty cool, thanks for sharing.
Currently the industry is flooded with funding and data is way more valuable than money. Therefore there are many free services like lmsys (my favorite), bing, chatgpt website/app, talkai, googles gemini website, many social media apps.
If you don't want to give away your data you can just run mistral or llama locally.

You know what would be pretty cool? A service where I can offer my computer / gpu for inference and earn a few sats for it.
Is anyone building that?
reply
Reminds me of gputopia (sell gpu to AI models for sats) Think they had a crazy amount of sellers but few buyers.

gputopia (GitHub readme)
barrier to entry?
just now looking into running alby for business. if their setup with voltage is as easy as they say, it might be worth running through the steps to unlock some convenience.
reply
Of course there are. Vast.ai and Runpod.ai (recently acquired by NVIDIA) are a few examples.
reply
Good question, I think I have heard of some shitcoin projects being built around this model, but haven't looked further into it.

Pay Per Query, Sats based. I'm no expert but I tried it out, interesting.
reply
Just gave it a try and it looks pretty cool, thanks for sharing!
I liked the fact that it is accountless and that you pay per query / stream sats.

That one seems to be pretty big around here. Thanks for sharing!
Did I see it correct though, that for the pro version you can only sign up with an x.com account? I think they can do better from that perspective.
reply
thanks for sharing the links. not only that nano-gpt uses a shitcoin...no they even invite to try some xss attacks ^^
reply
Intersting, didn't notice the xss vulnerability. Would you like to elaborate?
reply
sry I didnt express myself clearly. Whenever I hear 'safe' cookies store the wallet, that sounds like an invitation to check for any xss vulnerabilies. anyway I will check it eventually when I have the time. if I find anything I will let you know, I am always happy to elaborate. much more fun hacking together imo :P
