I think both conflicts are a bit more complicated than that, but both of them are land grabs.
or resource grabs?
I just dont get why we need to fund ukraines war, and israel.
Why did israel get support faster than ukraine?

Israel is incredibly powerful and smart. That little piece of land of Israel has been surrounded by enemies for decades and has squashed all conflict via technology, medicine, weapon etc. What is not covered is that Iran fired 500+ missiles at Israel but roughly only over half 300ish+ made it to the air. Everyone saw the fireworks, right? Naturally, US would support such a defense system.

They also told Israel they were firing all those missiles. It was just a bunch of war theater.

A lot of this stuff is done for reasons of domestic politics, rather than military strategy. It can make things pretty hard to interpret.

If I recall, Israel did retaliate, but instead of random shots. They went for one of their underground research shacks. Minimum death, max pain. If someone is able to slow down your technology, it can be considered a win. As Iran doesn't have the ability to think outside the box. Does it make them inferior? No, just brainwashed.
The point isn't to fund the conflicts. The point is to fund Boeing, Ratheon, and Lockhead Martin who are all major campaign donors of both parties.

Not at all. The Ukraine conflict literally exhausted all of the available munitions that NATO nations could supply.
These are major customers of the military industrial complex.
