There is an opinion that the US National Security Agency (NSA) was involved in the creation of Bitcoin. Bitcoin Lab Leak Hypothesis: “It was a closed internal research project that one researcher thought was too good to shelve and decided to secretly release it into the wild.” If Bitcoin was written by NSA cryptographers as a monetary bioweapon and the code went beyond those sensitive boundaries... does that make it a virus... that escaped from a lab? It is believed that the researcher released the technology without NSA permission and decided to keep the coins to maintain his anonymity. It is also believed that Bitcoin was most likely an interaction between NSA cryptographers and cyberpunk enthusiasts and that Satoshi (or at least his closest intellectual associates) had close ties to work at the NSA, but it is unlikely that Bitcoin itself or its white paper was approved by intelligence agencies .
