I'm pretty sure no one is earning a full-time living on Stacker News. At best, I'd say it can be supplemental income for people who are already earning money online or through the Bitcoin economy.
For most of us, it's a slightly lucrative hobby.
If he can get by on about 10k sats per day, then maybe he can make it work, but that's about where the top earners are at right now.
Ok, so it's a 'lucrative hobby' for us. Yeah, you may be right. It has mostly become like this for me within my short time here. Nice perspective. Let's see what others have to say. May be my question can reach a conclusion for others as well about how to take SN for a living or a hobby?

Over 500k, but it was a bank error in my favor.
I'm not sure if I've ever even cracked 20k, aside from one-offs, like MSM or winning one of the sports contests.

It's not about me only, it's just A General question for every newcomer, if m right.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it, but it doesn’t hurt to be introspective.
When in doubt, find more stuff to zap.

Do you look through “recent” for stuff?
That would be the only real tip I’d offer. You get more rewards when you zap good content before others do.
