update!
I posted up in their community- Obsidian hub-community and have been deleted. They're not interested in learning about Nostr or potentially move to FOSS. I can't understand why because they have just about almost all the makings to do so. They can still be FOSS and run their "sync" service. It made me think... For a moment if they could be logging to some metadata by keeping it closed source. So please move to make a BETTER client! One that is Nostr friendly, and I think you can even get OpenSats to back it up.
You could potentially make an offline client catered to a community-like minded Nostr like me. And it doesn't even have to be for Nostr- just for markdown in general. This would be an amazing client overall. If came to fruit. The community that obsidian has of devs that committed to their community plugins might flock over to yours and help contribute. food for thought.
