Nestled within the Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanic Garden in Shibpur, Howrah, near the bustling city of Kolkata, stands an extraordinary spectacle – The Great Banyan Tree.
It occupies an area of about 4.67 acres – about the size of a cricket pitch! At a height of 80 feet and a canopy circumference that stretches an impressive 1,594 feet, it is easy to mistake this single tree for a dense forest. With roots dating back centuries, it is a true marvel of nature.
This tree not only reminds me of my childhood but it also gives me vibes about A Great Bitcoin Economy. Bitcoin is evolving and the branches have just started to grow.
Right now we can only imagine A huge Bitcoin Tree with circumference as big as the whole planet. There shall be no mistake from humanity under its shade. The world will again be peer to peer with the roots stretching straight down to every household. How would you call it — A Marvel of Nature or A Marvel of Technology?
Do you also view the tree metaphorically linked to future Bitcoin Economy?
Or, may be not? Just learning.🫣

That's truly remarkable! From what I've seen, it belongs in the Guinness Book of Records... I just don't understand one thing: in the pictures, I see multiple trunks. Are these branches that grow downwards and transform into roots? I can see the metaphor with the bitcoin economy.

Yes these are hanging branches that touches the ground and converts into roots.
