Honestly, if it weren’t for these photos, I would have forgotten the lovely afternoon I spent at La Boqueria, Spain’s most famous indoor market during my honeymoon a decade ago. But I remember being captivated by the vibrant and exuberant display of colours, as well as the orderly fashion the enticing local produce were displayed. It instantly crushed my stereotype of the Spaniards - gregarious, wild, and perhaps slightly erratic. I understood that just because a people is energetic and extroverted doesn’t mean that they will neglect to lay the foundation to smoothen their business operations.
I also remember my wife feeling thrilled with the salami she tucked into there. I have a photo of bamboo clams that must be proof of my eating conquest. They still whet my appetite even now.

Im surprised you still look at your honeymoon/wedding pictures. Mine have sat in this nice book for years, rarely do I look at them.

Erm cos they are in my iPhone haha.
This year, I started on a delete one photo per day habit. So I post my photo here, then store it on my FB album (yes yes I just can’t get away from those Big Tech companies haha) n delete it on my phone. It’s a small action but it has given me much more energy to deal with the pressures of parenthood. I think it’s because I feel wholly in control haha

I would just buy a nice ssd and store your pictures on that. Its a lot better, and eventually putting your stuff on facebook, they will ask you for a fee to store it. Not saying it is going to happen soon, but it will happen eventually.

Spain is small but rather diverse. Catalonia probably is in the less gregarious, wild and extroverted end of the country.

Im surprised you like eating seafood after being in asian countries so long. Not that I detest it, but man, taking a bite into a juicy piece of chicken is sooooo much better!
