- Ingredients:
1.5 kg of fish (Traíra, Merluza, Hake, Whiting, Dogfish, Tilapia)
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 lemon juice
black pepper to taste salt to taste
1 cup (tea) wheat flour
1 cup cornmeal (tea)
1 tablespoon cornstarch (Maizena)
- Method of preparation: Clean the fish and cut it into slices, fillets or use it whole. Then season the fish with lemon juice, garlic, salt and black pepper to taste. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes in the seasoning. In a bowl, combine the wheat flour, cornmeal and cornstarch (Maizena). Coat the fish in this mixture and then fry it in hot oil. Place the fish on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve immediately.
