Hm, and in how far are you actually able to handle yourself?
How exactly do you mean?

How self sufficient are ya?

About 80% of the vegetables and 100% of the meat/fish we consume comes directly from our farmers. We also work for them to get things cheaper, sometimes even free, especially herbs, salats... We ourselves stopped making a garden, we have just flowers for the eyes and bees, because it wasn't worth it. Its always better to share work with others... In the spring, we collect a lot of things from nature and dry them for consumption throu the whole year... Greetings from Switzerland - the reason why we dont own anything. Too expensive and its not really yours...

Damn, that's a really smart move!
You work with and for the professionals, and get things for a reduced price -or even free!
I'm also more of a garden-for-the-bees-and insects type, since a vegetable garden can cause quite some work and headache's, I'll remember your take, solid!
