Purple: Daily rewards
Teal: 7-Day average rewardsI copy/pasted this chart from my BraiinsPool dashboard. I've been mining with roughly the same amount of hash rate for the entire duration shown in the chart.
All of the random spikes indicate the PPLNS mining rewards strategy, while the stable line indicates the FPPS strategy. It becomes obvious when this transition occurred.
Also, you can see when the most recent halving occurred, with the bonus spike on the first day or so after the halving when the fees went through the roof for a short period.
Enjoy the chart, and feel free to ask any questions!
PS: Yes, I omitted the Y-Axis, so I don't fully share my total mining rewards ;)
@ek now I'm just driving myself insane with my own post with embedded images that I can't see LOL
PR up
I am confused why this seems to only happen now to you?
Afaict, this must have been broken for everyone who enabled this setting for a while. But the image loads fine after the worker processed it and there are imgproxy URLs available so maybe it stayed below the radar until now because of this.
also can't see images
Should work now

I don't think this is necessarily a new issue for me. I think I've encountered it before, but didn't pay it much attention.
I used to earn more before switching to FPPS. Then again, when I turned miner on for the heat, I often kept it running until block was mined.
Yea, I keep mine running 24x7. I like the stability and consistency of FPPS, but I prefer PPLNS for the principle of the matter.
Is it good for bitcoin?
IMO no
Then why not switch pools?
Originally I did not switch pools because Braiins had a withdrawal minimum that I had not reached, so instead of abandoning my earnings, I wanted to exceed the minimum to withdraw. Then once I did that, I decided I wanted to earn enough to to withdraw without incurring fees, which I think was 500k sats on-chain.
Now that Braiins supports lightning withdrawals, I should probably withdraw and move to a new pool, but I haven't out of laziness and being busy with other things.
