What are the use cases? Will you please throw some light?

Homomorphic encryption is for doing things with encrypted data without knowledge of the unencrypted data.
e.g. if 1+1=2, enc(1)+enc(1)=enc(2)

It is a necessary requirement for current world. I can understand that they should be applied asap.
