I will add that many years ago, 2006 I think. I gave a talk in public speaking class in college on NN and how it was important...
Over the years I have learned that its nonsense from people in tech as well as people that own and operate small ISPs.
My belief is that these "rules" are simply another poorly veiled attempt to censor use of the Internet. If you read any of these rules you will see the term "lawful content" or "lawful use". The function of governance is needed. Monopoly of governance is the problem. The FCC is corrupt and even if it weren't its centralized and therefore would become corrupted.
I remember being out on an island being opposed to net neutrality back then. It struck me as egalitarian commie nonsense at the time, but I didn't appreciate until later how truly sinister it was.
