I have just read Million Sat Madness is a Keynesian Beauty Contest ...

I am new here...I can see now that there is a game to be played and actually I am more than happy to take part. I think though that the best way for me to play it is to post content that I am passionate about and also zap content that I truly find interesting!

The question I suppose I should ask is... will I change my view on this as time passes?

I know this isn't much of a post however I felt the need to put it out there and if I keep commenting on Stacker Saloon they may get sick of seeing my name pop up πŸ˜‚

This is the vision for the rewards system.

As you spend more time on SN, you'll develop a feel for how to write for the audience here and how much to zap different stuff. I don't think you'll change your big picture view, though, because you've already gotten it right.

I really appreciate this @Undisciplined :)

This post should be in the ~meta territory. πŸ˜‰

whoops! Did I mention I am new hereπŸ˜‚ I am guessing I can't move it now?

This is the right place for beginners' mistakes. I suspect @siggy47 will be ok with it.

reply

That's for sure

I am just happy that someone pointed out my mistake :) I know for future posts now to look more closely at where to place them :)

reply

Sure, we can change it, but only for territories where it's cheaper to post.
@sn should be able to handle this!

reply

thank you! You know, I will eventually find my way round here fully and then you can bet that it will be changed upπŸ˜‚

Million sat madness was a fun promotion that I hope they bring back next year but it does create perverse incentives and degrade the overall quality of content on the site.

I much prefer the daily rewards issuance.

You have the right strategy.

Oh absolutely! I enjoy seeing that purple number some morning's, I love it.

it has been interesting to read everybody's views on it that's for sure!
